Hi there! My name is Brandy, and I’m an adorably large bundle of happiness looking for a loving family with lots of room in their hearts (and maybe a little extra space on the couch too ). I just know I’d make an awesome addition to the right home!
I love being the center of attention-so I’d do best as your one and only pet. More love for me? Yes please! I’m happiest when I’m soaking up all the affection and hanging out with my favorite humans.
A few things to know about me:
I’m a bit of a fence-jumping superstar, so I’ll need a watchful eye when I’m outside! I prefer a child-free home where I can relax and feel comfortable. I also like my meals respected (a girl’s gotta eat in peace!), and nail trims aren’t exactly my favorite spa treatment-but hey, nobody’s perfect!

Sirius is a pretty little star who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and gentle place. Right now, she can be a bit shy, but every day she’s shining a little brighter as she builds trust and gets braver with the people around her.
She’s got a soft, sweet nature that’s just beginning to peek through-like a hidden star slowly coming into focus. With patience, kindness, and a calm home, Sirius is sure to blossom into a loving companion who truly sparkles in her own quiet way.
She has also lived with other cats here at the shelter and may enjoy gentle feline friends in a peaceful home setting.
Sirius doesn’t ask for much-just time, love, and a cozy place to feel safe. In return, she has all the makings of a loyal, heartwarming companion who lights up your life in the softest way.

Become a Foster Hero!
Foster One, Save One. When you open your home to a foster pet, you’re giving them comfort and care while freeing up shelter space – allowing us to help even more animals in need.
Foster homes play a critical role during kitten season. Many of the tiny kittens we take in are just a few days old and will need bottle feeding and close, constant care – something that is hard for us to provide in the shelter. Getting them into a home environment quickly will give them the best chance to grow and thrive. We’ll provide all the supplies you’ll need, along with support and guidance every step of the way.

An Update on Pets Who Have Found Their Forever Homes!
“I’ve had my baby Sienna (formerly “Persia”) for a little over a month now. I’ve always wanted a cat but just recently was put in a position where I was able to adopt one. I’m so grateful for SafeHaven for giving me the greatest kitty in the world. From cuddles, to playing, to finding her asleep in my laundry basket, she’s such a sweetheart through and through. I’m grateful to spend many more years with her.”
We love to help bring families together!
She has been everything I could’ve asked for in a dog. She plays, she’s patient, she sleeps, she’ll cuddle all day, likes her crate, the list goes on. My partner and I are so grateful for the grant from SafeHaven that allowed us to afford Meadow comfortably. Now my evenings after work involve walks and cuddles (what more could a girl ask for?).
We love Meadow, and highly recommended people to adopt dogs. Shortly after, my parents adopted their first dog!”

Martha’s family let us know that they have fully fallen in love with this darling girl. They said she loves her squeaky toys, has adjusted well to her feline sisters, gets the zoomies, and loves cuddling on the couch.
Martha May was with us for nearly two months before finding a family to call her own. We are so happy that she seems to be thriving in her home!
