Jonathan can be a bit shy and shut down in the shelter, but he’s been on several Doggy Day Out Adventures and has done wonderfully! During these outings, he’s encountered wild turkeys, deer, and even a neighborhood cat-each time, he acknowledged their presence and then returned his attention to his human, showing how focused and well-behaved he can be. While Jonathan is a bit nervous around loud noises (including the TV), he’s proven that, with the right person, he can feel secure and confident in new situations.
Because of his initial shyness and fear of loud noises, we believe Jonathan would thrive in an adult-only home where he can take things at his own pace. With patience and love, he will become an incredibly loyal and loving companion who just wants to be there for you.
If you’re ready to give Jonathan the time and space he needs to settle in, he will reward you with his deep affection and devotion. Come meet Jonathan today-he’s waiting for someone to help him feel safe and loved.
This sweet 5-year-old with the piercing blue eyes can be shy at first, but give him a bit of time and patience and his loving personality truly shines. Once he feels safe, Pryce enjoys quiet companionship, gentle pets, and being around trusted humans.
