Chance is living up to his name and hoping for a chance to spend his golden years in a loving forever home. This poor boy spent 8 years in a home so transitioning to a shelter is super hard for him. He has won the hearts of many of the staff here at SafeHaven….especially the Executive Director.
Chance is a gentle soul who would thrive in a calm, easygoing environment. He’s looking for a family that enjoys the slower side of life-quiet moments, cozy naps, and simple companionship. His sweet nature makes him the perfect buddy for someone who wants a loyal friend by their side. He is good with other dogs, is housebroken, and seems to not know a stranger. He truly is 100% a wonderful boy!
All Chance needs is a peaceful home where he can feel safe, loved, and cherished every day. If you have room in your heart and home for a senior boy, Chance is ready to give you so much unconditional love!

Missy is a sweet, affectionate cat who absolutely loves gentle scratches and will happily reward you with nonstop purring. She has a calm, loving personality and enjoys spending time close to her humans, soaking up attention and giving plenty of cozy companionship in return.

An Update on Pets Who Have Found Their Forever Homes!
She has been everything I could’ve asked for in a dog. She plays, she’s patient, she sleeps, she’ll cuddle all day, likes her crate, the list goes on. My partner and I are so grateful for the grant from SafeHaven that allowed us to afford Meadow comfortably. Now my evenings after work involve walks and cuddles (what more could a girl ask for?).
We love Meadow, and highly recommended people to adopt dogs. Shortly after, my parents adopted their first dog!”

Martha’s family let us know that they have fully fallen in love with this darling girl. They said she loves her squeaky toys, has adjusted well to her feline sisters, gets the zoomies, and loves cuddling on the couch.
Martha May was with us for nearly two months before finding a family to call her own. We are so happy that she seems to be thriving in her home!
Before they knew it, they were headed home with a new family member! Once home, Luna wasted no time making herself comfortable – dragging out toys, playing chase, inventing games of hide & seek, and of course, soaking up treats and cuddles with her favorite people.
We love a happy ending that starts with “just looking”.
