Creating enrichment toys and treats for shelter animals

Helping promote adoptable pets through creative projects

Supporting their community by helping with assistance programs like Pet Food Pantry

This program blends service learning, animal interaction, and skill-building, empowering young people to grow as leaders and allies for animals in need. No prior experience needed—just a big heart and a willingness to help! Youth can participate in one session or many. Kids are welcome to bring a blanket (some will be provided) and pillow from home if they’d like, though we do ask that toys stay home. Kids will also need to wear closed toe shoes for animal time. We ask that light-up shoes stay home as they are just too tempting to play with during the movie. Movies will vary from month to month. Titles are available upon request. This is a drop off event. All adults participating in movie nights are current volunteers or staff who have passed a background check. If your child needs accommodations that require an adult to stay with them during the event, please let us know before registering so that can try to make the necessary adjustments. Space is limited so early registration is encouraged.
