We believe the best way to ensure a more humane society is to teach kids compassion and respect for all animals!
SafeHaven is a fantastic option for you and the party animal(s) in your life. We are pleased to offer parties for kids 5 years through 15 years old.
We offer a host of single and multi-day camps during school breaks for youth ages 5–17 who are interested in learning more about animals and animal welfare in a fun, hands-on environment.
Open year-round to children in Kindergarten through the 8th grade, this program helps children increase their reading skills and self confidence by reading aloud to our adoptable dogs, cats, and small animals. And it benefits our adoptable animals by allowing them valuable time socializing with people.
Pets and Pajamas is a fun and easy way to get your kids involved with SafeHaven Humane Society, and have a little time for yourselves too.

Join us for Furry Tales, a heartwarming story time experience where young children and their caregivers can enjoy a morning of reading, creativity, and gentle moments with animals.
