Meet Chamomile!
Chamomile, Cammy for short, is a sweet, smart, playful, and shy “house panther” with dark golden eyes that seem to glow in the dark. At a little over two years old, she has the vigor of a kitten with the mellowness and independence of an adult cat: the purrfect balance!
Her hobbies include rolling around on the floor, chasing after and wrestling with tossed toys, nibbling on oat grass, and peering out windows, especially when birds or squirrels are present. If enjoying cat treats can also be a hobby, she’s all in on that, especially Churu lickables. Yummm.

Cute quirks? Cammy has a few. When she wants to be petted, she will approach you and point her butt at you. (Isn’t that special?) This is your invitation to gently pet her shoulders and the length of her back a few times. If you do it right, you’ll hear purrs! She also prefers people when they’re at her level, i.e., in a low chair or on the floor. The better to keep any eye on you that way!

Cammy needs a quiet, calm environment and patient people as she continues to mature and learn how to trust. Her foster parent notes that she genuinely likes people and being close to them, but can take a while to overcome her shyness and that Chamomile seems to prefer to be the only cat in the house.
