Donate to the Gift & Thrift

SafeHaven Gift & Thrift is a private non-profit solely supported by donations and fundraisers. A critical revenue source for our shelter operations comes from shoppers and donors like you, who shop at our store and donate used items.

Give your new and gently-used items a second life at SafeHaven’s Gift & Thrift stores. When you donate, you make a difference for pets in need, support members of our community who shop at the Gift & Thrift, and keep items out of the waste stream. You’ll feel great knowing that your donation has an impact on pets and people in Linn County and surrounding communities.

Tips for Easy Donating

We know you have choices when you donate. Thank you for considering the Gift & Thrift! Make your donation experience easy – please consider the following:

  • Remember the Gift & Thrift Golden Rule: If you would consider giving it to a friend, then the item is most likely in good condition and appropriate to donate to SafeHaven’s Gift & Thrift Stores.
  • Save time when donating: have your items sorted and ready to give to our donation staff. If possible, please have your items in a bag, box, or container that you’re also willing to donate.
  • Please be patient during busy times. Our staff is working hard to make the process as efficient as possible.

Please do not dump unwanted items at our Gift & Thrift locations. Doing so means higher fees for disposal of waste and less revenue to support the animals of SafeHaven.

You may drop off your gently used items during the following times:

Tangent Location: Monday – Saturday 10 AM – 4 PM (or until full)
Lebanon Location:  Tuesday – Saturday 10 AM -4 PM (or until full)
