50th Anniversary Celebration

Celebrating 50 Years of saving lives

Join us on July 20th for an OPEN HOUSE anniversary celebration!

Fifty years ago, SafeHaven was started as a network of foster homes that has now become the organization you know today. Because of your support through five decades, SafeHaven has grown into an 9-member Board of Directors, a 50-member paid staff, and over 400 dedicated volunteers that cares for over 2,000 animals every year.

This FREE family-friendly event includes food trucks, an exciting kid zone, cake, a kitten shower, community booths, and more! We will also be discounting adoption fees ALL DAY! Check back the day before to see the discount.

THANK YOU TO THE FOLLOWING VENDORS ATTENDING THIS EVENT:

Anniversary Celebration Raffle

To kick off this event, we are raffling off a 6 person 2.5 hour Willamette River trip, donated by Mike Hurd, owner of Scenic Jet Boat Tours! (Value of over $500) Tickets are just $5.

We will be drawing the winner for this ticket at the event on July 20th at 3 PM and will notify the winner promptly. You do not need to be present to win. Tickets can also be purchased at the event.

Pono Bowl

Stop by anytime between 9 am – 3 pm to visit Pono Bowl Co. and get your smoothie on!

It’s a…KITTEN!

Join us for a Kitten Shower where you will have the chance to visit with kittens, learn about fostering opportunities, and what to do if you find kittens! Should you wish to bring a gift to the shower (at the event), please see our most needed items via our Amazon Wishlist using the link below. We will have hundreds of kittens come through our door this summer!

Bottle Drive

We will be accepting cans and bottles during this event in our back parking lot! Feel free to bring bags of cans and bottles or just bring them on by and we will be happy to bag them up for you. Please also stop by to pick up blue bags to fill at home and learn more about this life-saving program.

In 2023, this program alone brought $13,932 to the animals at SafeHaven and ensured they were taken care of until they found their forever home.
