Meet Millie - an incredibly smart and sometimes too clever dog looking for her forever home! This beautiful girl came to us with her litter of puppies, now that her pups are all grown up and in their forever homes, Millie is eagerly waiting for hers!

Millie is a sweet and affectionate dog, but she's also full of energy and needs a job to keep her mind and body busy. When she's runs out of activities to keep her satisfied, she's so clever that she uses the chain-link fence like a ladder to let herself out and go find more! Unfortunately, because of this, she can't be left unattended in a yard, so she isn't able to burn off as much energy as she needs.

While Millie has found a few dog friends in the past, her play style isn't for everyone. Millie doesn't do anything at less than 100% and that includes playing. She does best with dog friends that can keep up and put up with her enthusiastic and rough playstyle. Due to her always-on-the-go mind set, when walking past other dogs Millie can get frustrated by being held back which can lead to barrier reactivity. Millie may do best in a home where she is the star of the show with no other dogs or any small animals.

Millie is an incredibly sweet girl who would thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of exercise, stimulation, and mental challenges. We have also been working with Millie on walking on long lines, keeping her attention on her handler, and using food puzzles to keep her mind working. If you're looking for a bright and energetic companion, she might just be the perfect fit!
