Jr. Volunteer Club is a unique opportunity for youth to learn about animals, work with adoptable shelter pets, and volunteer at the same time. Each month will have a different topic. Club members will engage in animal welfare discussions, shelter enrichment activities, animal socialization time, and become an integral part of the shelter. Youth in this club will also be eligible to volunteer at select other SafeHaven events, without parental supervision. Time spent in the Jr. Volunteer Club can be applied to school required community service. Parents are not required to stay. Each meeting will also include a snack.
